This gorgeous Ludwig exotic classic maple comes with an exotic Birdseye maple veneer with custom burnt end high gloss lacquer finish. This is a special finish option we worked out with Ludwig over the course of a year. Never before offered prior to this kit. This is currently Drumset one of one. At the core of every Ludwig Classic Maple kit are 7 ply thin 6mm shells of select North American maple. In a special process Ludwig calls Radio Frequency Shell Technology (RFST), plies are cross laminated using a proprietary glue that joins plies evenly for maximum strength, resonance, and output. Precise 45-degree bearing edges are hand-sanded to supply a perfect foundation for heads and hoops.
