This SQ1 14" x 6.5" GT Black Snare features 100% birch shells and stunning matte lacquer finishes. The snare drum shell is made from 7 ply 6mm Birch wood. The 45 degree bearing edges allows for great attack and controlled overtones. This drum has a very impressive back beat and extremely sensitive ghosted notes. As you can expect from all German made drums, Sonor spares no expense on sound and quality.
